EIPG elects new Bureau at General Assembly in Madrid | Anni Svala elected President

The European Industrial Pharmacists Group (E.I.P.G.) is pleased to announce the election of its new Bureau members during the General Assembly held in Madrid on 11th May 2025. Mrs. Anni Svala has been elected President of EIPG for a three-year term.

Anni Svala brings over 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and wholesale sector. A passionate and results-oriented Industrial Pharmacist (M.Sc. Pharm.,), she is recognized as a dedicated and impact-driven quality executive professional with a strong track record in quality leadership, regulatory affairs and influencing.


Svala has played an active role within EIPG since 2009, initially serving as a Finnish country delegate. In 2014, she was elected to the EIPG Bureau as Vice-President for Education & Careers and most recently served as Vice-President for European Affairs from 2023. Her longstanding commitment to EIPG reflects both a deep understanding of its mission and a strong dedication to advancing the industrial pharmacy profession across Europe.


Professionally, Svala serves as Executive Board Member, Quality Director, and Responsible Pharmacist at Tamro Oyj in Finland. Her leadership style combines strategic thinking with operational excellence. She is particularly skilled in engaging stakeholders across industry and is passionate about driving innovation through cross-sector collaboration. With a leadership style defined by positivity and initiative, Svala is also deeply committed to mentoring emerging talents and young professionals in the pharmaceutical industry.
