The 65th AFI Symposium will take place from 10 to 12 June 2026 at the Palacongressi in Rimini, Italy.
This year’s edition, entitled The Healthcare Industry in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, will explore how AI and digital technologies are reshaping the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors across the entire value chain.
The programme will bring together representatives from industry, academia, institutions and professional associations to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on pharmaceutical research, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, digital health, quality, medical devices, HTA and market access. The Symposium will feature 14 scientific sessions, 2 keynote lectures, company workshops, poster sessions, start-up initiatives and the Young Talents Contest.
EIPG is pleased to highlight the contribution of its representatives within the Symposium programme, particularly in the session dedicated to Regulatory and technological developments in API production, scheduled for Thursday, 11 June 2026, and coordinated by Maurizio Battistini and Piero Iamartino.
The event represents an important opportunity for dialogue on the future of pharmaceutical innovation, with a focus on technological transformation, regulatory evolution, professional skills and the responsible integration of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
